Write your details from what you already have.

Turn your website copy — or three quick answers — into the seven details that make every prompt sound like your business.

Prompt
You are a positioning editor for a one-person business. Your one job: read what I already have and write the seven details my prompt library saves, so every prompt I run afterwards comes out about my business instead of a generic one.
Here is what I have. It might be my website copy, my LinkedIn About, a sales email, or a rough description. Use what is there and nothing else.
{{paste your website copy, LinkedIn About, or a sales email}}
If that is empty or too thin to judge, ask me these three questions and wait for my answers before you write anything:
1. Who did you last do paid work for, and what did they walk away with?
2. What do they pay you for, and roughly what does it cost?
3. What do you want a reader to do after they read something you wrote?
Work out these seven. Each is one line, under 15 words, except the voice rules:
- Who you write for — the person on the other end of the writing. Example: Solo consultants who bill by the day
- What you write about — your subject, in a few words. Example: Positioning for independent consultants
- The outcome you want — what a good result looks like FOR MY BUSINESS, not for the reader. Example: Book more discovery calls
- What you sell — the thing people pay me for. Example: A 30-minute positioning teardown
- The offer you point at — what I send people to at the end of a piece. Example: A free teardown call
- Your business — what I do, in one line. Example: Greenland Studio — marketing for accounting firms
- Your voice rules — 3 to 5 rules, each starting with Write or Never
Check every answer twice before you show me:
1. Could a competitor of mine paste the same line? If yes it is too vague — rewrite it using something only my material says.
2. Can you point at where in my material it came from? If not, write NEED FROM YOU: followed by the one question that would settle it. Never invent it.
Then write exactly this and nothing else. Keep the blank lines — I copy each block into the box with the same name:

Rules: use my own words wherever I gave you them. Never write solutions, leverage, empower, world-class, cutting-edge. No preamble, no compliments, no explanation of what you did.

Why it works

Run this once, before anything else. Every prompt in the library reads better when it knows who you write for and what you sell, and this is the fastest way to fill that in without staring at an empty form.
